I moved to the Dallas area from Oklahoma over 10 years ago.I am married and have 2 amazing kids!Our family is always on the go.I have always enjoyed sports and considered myself to be active.It wasn’t until I started sticking to a training program and a structured work out that I realized I hadn’t been as active as I thought.With discipline and commitment you can achieve any goals you set for yourself.
I completed my first marathon in 2009 and have been addicted to running ever since.The feeling you get when you cross a finish line, hit your fastest mile, and record your farthest distance is an incredible feeling and one that only runners know.I can honestly say I am a healthier, happier person because of running.One of the things I love about running is you don’t have to be in competition with anyone else, you just set goals for yourself and work hard at achieving them.I believe cross training, proper stretching and nutrition all go hand in hand with running and compliment the other.Whether this is your first peek into running or you’re a veteran with several races under your belt, I look forward to running alongside a healthier, happier you.
