Be Moved! (Physical Fitness Activities)

In order to live a life of vitality and handle basic activities of daily living with ease today, tomorrow and as we age, we need to fit physical activity in our lives. Since we all have varying lifestyles, fitness levels and goals, there's no single workout that is right for everyone!  We achieve physical fitness through exercise and physical activity - planned, structured, and repetitive bodily movement produced by the contractionof skeletal muscles resulting in a substantial increase over resting energy expenditure and done to improve or maintain one or more components of fitness (cardiorespiratory endurance, body composition, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility). 
 
There's nothing quite as efficient as an active lifestyle for keeping you looking and feeling younger longer.   Engage in any of our classses to work-out your issues, dance your worries away, calm you mind, build endurance and/or strengthen and tone the body to develop/maintain a positive state of fitness and health for your body, mind and spirit.
 
Shut out the outside word, tune in to your body, challenge yourself in the moment to pay attention to your breathing, the isolated and integrated workings of your muscles and the wonderful sensations of a Zen experience in our signature Yoga classes or Bellydance inspired classes.  
 
Groove to global beats and timeless rhythms during a dance-inspired class or private/group dance lessons or choreography - to increase physical activity, just for fun "feel-good" endorphins, relationship/team building or to prepare for an event i.e., Quinceanera, Sweet 16, Anniversary or other celebrations.
 
Personal Training is all about you reaching YOUR  goals.  Private classes & Small Group Trainings are our way of letting you experience an activity with a group that you've hand picked - friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc.  for comraderie and/or motivation and support.  All you have to do is assemble your very own dream team and determine a schedule & location that works for everyone... off-site, your site or ours!
